So I just finished Blood Promise today; the fourth Book in popular Vampire Academy series.
I was really eager to read it and to know how events would turn out. And I can say that the author Richelle Mead has done a great job. I was hooked up in the novel from the first chapter and just finished it in two readings in 24 hours.
Dimitri: Rose’s true love has gone Strigoi(a bad vampire) and now she must find him and kill him to fulfill his once stated wish that he’d rather die than be a Strigoi.
But will she be able to find him? And if she found him, will she be able to kill a man she loved so deeply?
The book is written in a way that you are always in touch with all characters and as it is very difficult to narrate a book through first person narrative: Mead has done superb job there. The way she explain things, emotions, events, decisions and the places are just incredible. Okay the whole book is great but I just couldn’t stop myself from admiring the end of the book. I will not spoil your day by revealing anything here but really the end is superb.
The main character is almost like us, not perfect, always wondering about her life and her deeds and her past works and about future to come.
I really felt the joys and the change in feelings as the main character Rose felt them and this is no exaggeration of the good work of the author. The wide variety of emotions, action, and mystery really caught you in the passion of this para-normal romance book.
The way Rose weigh her decisions on right or wrong and the way the appearance of new characters never feel strange or stupid like some other books are the great factors to be considered. I really like the new mysterious character Abe in the in the book, and the way some turns in the book make you really surprised/shocked or whatever you can say.
Nothing seems ridicules or out of sense in Mead’s world of Moroi/Strigoi as in some other para-normal genre books; like you can imagine and foretell everything as they just make anything possible but in Mead’s work everything is new and nothing can be said about any event or character until she reveal the truth or the lead.
Those who have read the previous three books, rest assure that you will not be disappointed by this one but will be really surprised and enjoy the book.
Those who haven’t yet read the works, you must give the series a try. I bet you’ll thank me for pointing you out for that.

There are many e-Book readers available for almost all mobile phones.
Although Symbian/Smart phones have a little more advanced reader available for them.
But other mobiles supporting Java MIDP 2.0 and access to File System(JSR-75) also have many good and free readers built for them.

While searching for some Authors and Book I came across a cool website named Wattpad.
They have a cool mobile application of the same name for searching, downloading and reading e-books.
There are plenty of books on their database. You just need a GPRS/EDGE/3G connection to search and read e-books, you can even download the e-books toyour phone and read them offline.
As I travel a lot, so this application has become my first choice for my mobile. Now I don’t have to worry about long travels, I just download my favourite books and read them on the go.
One can also upload his/her books to Wattpad too. This is a good feature for new authors for showing their work and getting feedback.
There are books on almost every subject and if you can’t find your choice, just make a request and someone will upload it.
Its really cool. I’ve downloaded and read many books in past three months.
And writers of stories, novellas, novels, books, poetry etc. etc. can upload their work for free. In an instant your work will be in reach of millions of readers like me! This is really gret and I’ve seen it working. So go and try it guys and gals…
And the fact that this is all for FREE..!!!
No COST at all…
You must give it a try and I can bet that you will like it.
